There`s no doubting that Liverpool deserve this, but massively helped for me by Mo and Mikel`s horrendous mismanagement coupled with losing their entire first choice forward line.
When Salah moves to Saudi in the summer for his final payday Liverpool will be like a one legged man entering an arse kicking competition, I really do feel that is the impact he`s had on them in their recent history.
They`ll certainly be challenging, but running away with it like this season?
Zero chance.

Latest rumours are that Salah will be getting a new 2 year deal so may not be going anywhere in the summer, I’m also fairly sure that, like any elite club, Liverpool won’t get shot of their best player without bringing in a suitable replacement but until what happens happens no-one can judge what team will be where this time next year.

He`s 33 now, can`t Liverpool offer him a million tax free a week, He`ll want a big payday before he hangs up his boots, he won`t get that here.
VVD might be tempted too.

Salah is not actually 33 until June, also don’t think he’s particularly driven by money so wouldn’t surprise me if Liverpool did get him to re-sign for a couple of years.

Certainly all of Liverpool's challengers have fallen away. Only thing with the 'gifted the title' stuff, is that Liverpool can still reach 97 points, and even maintaining their current PPG would see them top 90 points, which would have been enough to win (for example) every PL title between 2006-07 and 2015-16. agree. I like sometimes looking back at old seasons and seeing how 'poor' some things look in todays standards

first ever PL season was won by Man Utd who got 84 points, but that was in a 42 game season. if you take that points per game and put it across a 38 game season you are looking at winning the league with 76 points. lol

agree. I like sometimes looking back at old seasons and seeing how 'poor' some things look in todays standards

maybe the disparities between teams in the league at that point weren't as great and a lower points total indicates a more competitive league??

Liverpool's press is much less aggressive. The rotation of players between midfield and the forward lines is different.

Klopp had Gravenberch for a season and hadn’t noted it because he doesn’t play in entirely the same way as detailed by Ascot. Slot’s team also, apparently, are very up on the training regime suitable for their style and are able to minimise injuries so they get less of them and when they do arise players aren’t being sidelined for months. The point is that Slot has made changes to Klopp’s style, he favours a double pivot, his side press but only when it makes the most sense to do so, the defence is more solid and they’re able to turn out relaxed performances without panicking (look at how many times they’ve recovered points from losing situations and the way they seemed to be in such a “low gear” yet still able to outclass Citeh). Most intelligent of all was the appointment of Slot in the first place as he’s been able to seamlessly adapt Klopp’s style into his way with the players available so none of the “all change” that you can get at other clubs. That doesn’t mean there won’t be changes made in the summer (they could do with extra cover in defence and at DM, I’m sure they must realise Nunez is not quite the answer, Robertson and Tsimikas are starting to look a bit ropey at times and they’ll probably lose TAA to Real).
