What’s actually up with Roberts? He is capable but seems perma-injured
He was on the pitch doing running drills before the game yesterday, so guessing he's just not up to speed yet rather than injured. He didn't have much of a pre-season.

Didn't look ready to start any time soon, not sure how many minutes he actually had pre-season. Odd that he was on the bench for Bromley, but not for Luton.

Seeing as you’ve included last season & the season before loanees returning shouldn’t you also have included them coming in? Or not included them at all? You also missed the Ntege twins going and the arrivals of Doshi and the other Ntege.

Quite some discrepancy on squad size between last and this season either way though, so a lot more transfer work needed this season.

Whilst I totally get your point - if you are including youth players and loanees in the "left" column, then you need to include them in the arrivals column too.

Somewhat unfair as you've included a lot of academy lads in the leavers and not included new recruits to the academy in the arrivals.

Not counting the loans is a bit shit tier.
Counting players that have barely played a game is a bit shit tier.

Plus there’s three or four who have come in and left again, D Williams at least

Everyone who has left since couhig:

Harvey Knibbs, Michael Craig, Amadou Mbengue, Jayden Wareham, Billy Bodin, Chem Campbell, Tyler Bindon, André Garcia, Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan, Mamadi Camara, Ben Elliott, Andy Yiadom, Adrian Akande, Coniah Boyce-Clarke, David Button, Harlee Dean, Louie Holzman, Tom Carroll, Tivonge Rushesha, Basil Tuma, Michael Stickland,
(Basically removed anyone without first team games, Charlie Wellens not making the cut was an approximate benchmark)

Players who have come and gone

Matt Ritchie, Derrick Williams, Matty Jacob, Finley Burns, Mark O'Mahony, Kamari Doyle, Will Keane, Ryan Nyambe, Kadan Young,
(Think I’ve got everyone here)

Everyone who has arrived

Benn Ward, Haydon Roberts, dokes , Kyreece Lisbie, Paddy Lane, Jack Marriott Jacob Brown, Paudie O'Connor, Andy Rinomhota, Randell Williams, Daniel Kyerewaa, and Jack Stevens.
This doesn’t include Josh Stokes on loan, nor any youngsters (Wikipedia lists three this season, plus e.g. Sean Patton last season).

I’m not pretending this is good - it literally reflects a club going through multiple transitions, essentially three managers and one change of owner in a very short space of time.

In the “where have the owners gone wrong” thread, I pointed out that normal things were being picked up as abnormal. This is exactly that. A bit of context, a small rearrangement and it’s not ludicrously bad, with some issues that need attention.

Should include the Patton and Stokes in the arrivals.
If you consider those that played in 1st team league games (Buttom, Dean , Strickland) and ignore the U21s who you played old cup game (Tuma) then 12-15 left and 12-14 arrived so fairly even given that this transfer window has not closed.

Seems to be some traction on social media regarding the signing of youngster George Earthy from West Ham and that the lad is having a medical as we speak, and that the signing is for a permanent deal?
Anyone else hear anything on this? Apparently he is an AM and 21 yrs old on the bench for the last few games for the Wet Shammers!!

I would welcome this as a Reading type signing. However, there are still key positions we ideally need to be recruiting for.

A left back
A centre back
A striker who can do goals and stuff when Patton isn’t fit enough to step in for Marriot.

Reece Evans scored against Charlton, he`s a unit, and he`s out on loan while we`re woefully short of back up for Jack, make it make sense.

To be honest I would be happy with a striker and a centre back now and good for the season. We have 3 players who can play at LB do we really need another?

He scored last night for Bedford Town FC so continuing goal scoring form.

David Hicks also played and picked up Man of Match award and 24 cans of lager😎
