Yes the summer signings have by and large turned out to be poor and the winter ones not much better, particularly Keane. Young hasn't worked out either but that was very last minute as we couldn't get the Colchester lad.

Key summer coming up....hopefully with stable ownership we can get business done early this year.

Leam really doesn't help himself with his post match comments! The guy is under pressure and he comes out with its a positive result! Against a team playing Div2 football next year with several youngsters in their side plus a record of one win in ten....and it took us nearly 35minutes to register our first shot on goal!!
I get you want to protect your players and try and put a positive spin on things but hey, these are grown adults not performing at what they should be able to do so expect some criticism its part of being a footballer plus the fans would much rather hear the truth than spinning crap after every game.
If he survives the post season he really won't have much good will in his locker with the fans and anything other than a good start will surly be the end for him.

Actually think the signings since Leam arrived have been decent and much better than over the summer. Think only Keane has been a complete flop and most were saying it was a logical decent move when the deal was made.

Young you can say hasn’t worked out but that’s because the manager never seemed inclined to play him and then he picked an annoying injury by playing on a bog.

Therefore would suggest this points to some likely decent activity in the summer

Derrick I quite like but been injured loads, hasn’t stopped us having a very leaky defence. Wouldn’t be sad to see him go tbh - similar to Marriott in many ways

Yeah, Marriott has done well, but this is comfortably his best scoring season since his red hot 2017-18 season at Peterborough and the first since that season where he has reached double figures in the league.

Hindsight is 20/20, but we let go of the almost decade younger and considerably less injury prone Wareham who has scored more than Marriott this season.

Oh, and if you're searching stealthpapes, I'll admit that I said on here that I didn't see Wareham as a consistent league 1 goalscorer.
