1) ref cam is shit. Stop shoving it down our.throat as if it's some amazing view

2) spurs look amazing

3) worst villa performance for ages. They look so bad it's unreal. Endless mistakes, weak, slow, no possession, just terrible.
2 and 3 certainly will have been partly because Villa essentially had the reserves out.

Right, but essentially so did Spurs. Most of the first team out through injury.

Yeh, harsh on Spurs. They have always had good players, but yesterday De Zerbi had galvanised them to play with desire, energy, organisation and a clear gameplan. The amount of times you saw players celebrating a defensive action said it all. Fans will be entitled to ask where this has been all season, but if they can keep up yesterday's levels it's not outlandish to suggest they can finish off with 3 more wins.

Seen lots of Spurs fans saying just this but it's not a valid argument to counter the accusation that Villa deliberately picked a weaker team. Then again there are no rules against that nowadays are there?

Let's face it, people are only annoyed because it benefitted Spurs and everyone is desperate for them to go down because it would be funny. If Villa had fielded a weaker team against someone else and lost then no-one would be bothered. In fact Palace rested players against West Ham and no-one gave a shit.

Absolutely. If Tottenham was in 13th place or whatever I wouldn't even have watched yesterday

As it was though, I had a lot of wine and was screaming at villa to actually play football. I even said to my friend "the whole of the football world is counting on villa here"

Exaggeration of course, but to see Tottenham go down would be surreal and pretty amazing

But it now looks like West Ham are for the chop. Tottenham got two wins which is key obviously but more than that, they look like a real team, they have belief now,and I think they'll get at least 1-2 more wins

Edit: oh and west ham will have watched that and thought "oh FFS..." And they'll absolutely choke on the pressure

Remaining games for the two clubs…

10th May
West Ham v Arsenal

11th May
Spurs v Leeds

17th May
Newcastle v West Ham

19th May
Chelsea v Spurs

24th May
Spurs v Everton
West Ham v Leeds

Think it’s bye, bye to the ‘appy ‘ammers

Bournemouth up to 6th after their remarkable unbeaten run.
They also benefited from the opposition not putting out their strongest side and took full advantage of it even though there was an own goal that just crossed the line and , IMHO, a dubious penalty.

If City carry on winning games the Bournemouth v City fixture on 22nd May could be a massive game for both sides and comes very soon after the FA Cup final for City.

So with City's draw last night, Arsenal know that if they win their last 3 they will take a very boringly achieved title. Even 7 points likely enough unless City claw back 4 goals in GD whilst winning out.

Forest's win means it is all but definitely between Spurs and West Ham for the drop - either would objectively be very funny. It'll be West Ham.

In the ‘Spurs for the drop’ camp here, purely for the novelty factor.

Same... I would absolutely love it if Tottenham went down. No real bad feeling against the club, but just surely for the sight of it and I think it would result in some great Championship games too.

I agree that it looks way more likely that West Ham are for the chop. That's primarily based on Tottenham appearing to have turned a corner and have at least got some wins now.

Unfortunately, I'm struggling to see where Arsenal drop points given they play 3 of the bottom 6, although Arsenal have dropped a few points against weaker teams.

Spurs' fixtures look kinder than West Ham's as well.

15 games unbeaten now, longest recorded by any team this season. And this is a team that lost 4/5ths of its defence in the summer.
