That can still happen. Liverpool win and Villa losing away at Citeh, will see them swap places.

Possible, albeit would take a wild result at Anfield for it to happen.

A shame Liverpool lost to Villa, as that ended the possibility of Villa finishing fifth and, potentially, opening up 6th spot to the Champions League.
And at the City Ground. If Liverpool were beaten 1-0 by Brentford then Boremuff would still need to win 5-0 at Forest.

As above, Liverpool losing to Villa didn’t end the possibility of Villa finishing fifth. If City beat Villa and Liverpool beat Brentford on Sunday then Liverpool will beat Villa to fourth on goal difference.

But if there is an extra place to be had in the CL next year I’d rather it went to a club like Hearts or to a nation whose Champions don’t normally even get a place in the competition.

Agreed. Award it to April 25th Sports Club of Pyongyang, current champions of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Premier Football League!

that'll shake things up a bit!

Exactly, Australia get into Eurovision so there’s precedence to be had.

TBF this season has been reasonably exciting. City pushed Arsenal and were in pole position.....and the relegation jepordy is enormous.....
Last season Liverpool weren't even challenged and the three that came up, went back down and were garbage.
