Ince has had a hip operation will NOT be able to play again until next season.

Was it not Hunt who said that Ince is done and we are "hoping" to see him back in pre-season?

Other than that, everyone might have an opportunity. May as well try and throw them on the bench at worst on the last day if there is any chance they can play.

I liked what Hunt said about Yakou Meite. Still, it's good that the forward is eager to play, even though he's injured. But it wasn't worth the risk either. The match wouldn't have changed anything. And an injury for 3-6 months is an injury for next season too.

Tbh he could be an asset in L1, and only a year left on the contract so no long term commitment

Doubt they are that upset about Meite either tbh. Great guy but constantly injured and not the player he was

I suspect it was Bowen as well who was offering him around in January due to his wages, not just Ince.

He's had enough chances to prove what he could be, he doesn't deliver. A drop down in levels might make a difference, but at £15k a week, it's not worth the chance again. Potentially getting a fee on top of clearing his wages would be more beneficial for us rather than hoping he can deliver again.

Only a year left on his deal that we would be unlikely to renew due to his wage demands (whether we were L1 or not), be just best to part ways at this stage.

Wages shouldn’t be a massive issue this year really being as all the other high earners are gone and presumably won’t have the squad limit nonsense

I'd be thinking the club probably are looking to move on. Yes wages are now less of an issue, but I'd rather not have an underperforming player earning £15k a week in our squad when we could get 2/3 players who could be more impactful on that.

Even if a new manager would want to use him, I'd still be inclined to move him on because he won't be here in 12 months time, which we probably know.

It's not really the falling out that is the issue with Ejaria. It's him being a useless mentalist. I don't see Ince leaving changing that.
