We'll definitely have a couple in. Probably not by this weekend but next week when things start to move before deadline day.The Real Sandhurst Royal wrote:Current squad Mid table 12th to 14th.
Should a couple of quality loan signing's come in before the deadline we could push for a top half finish.
I hope so, often one of the first things to go when a team gets in a slump is movement and that nice quick incisive passing that goes with it. The young committed squad should help maintain it.StellaPlease wrote:I just think our home firm will see us comfortably mid table. We just look so quick with lots of movement. A couple of additions and we could be even better.
Not sure the Scorpions are around anymore are they ?StellaPlease wrote:I just think our home firm will see us comfortably mid table. We just look so quick with lots of movement. A couple of additions and we could be even better.
If we start badly we could very quickly find ourselves battling it out with Barnsley et. al. With a young squad, losing a few early games can knock confidence and create pressure. On the other hand, get a few good early results and be sitting comfortably in mid-table after 10 games or so, and we could go from strength to strength. In this context, an opening home game against Sheffield Wednesday looks like a very important game.notloyalenuffroyal wrote:I reckon, teams that will definitely finish above us:
Cardiff
Derby
Fulham
Leeds
Boro
Stoke
Swansea
West Brom
Teams that will finish below us:
Barnsley
Charlton
Luton
Millwall
Wigan
So we'll be in amongst this lot.
Brentford
Bristol City
Brum
Blackburn
Huddersfield
Hull
Forest
Preston
QPR
URZZZZ
Sheffield wed
But who bloomin knows anything these days and trying to pick any sort of order out of it..... not a clue. Alphabetical seems as good as anything. I'll take 19th and a good giggle at Leeds as they balls it up at the end of the season again.
I'm genuinely interested in hearing an explanation for how our midfield has more steel.Ascotexgunner wrote:7th-9th.....Looking good at the back.....midfield looking like it has a bit more steel and understanding and just need a striker to find his shooting boots...
No reason why we can't achieve this.....the way we break forward looks wonderful to watch at times...For the first time in a couple of seasons I am really really positive.
