We could easily have got seven more points right now from the last three games. We couldn't've said that earlier in the season. There's clear progression being made.

Today was good and we were unlucky, but I don't agree with the wider diagnosis. The 1st halves against Mansfield and Exeter were abominations, especially at Exeter where we were gifted an early lead and still performed poorly for 45 minutes.

Ultimately a good performance in a game we still lost is not enough to save him; we need results. 11 points from 12 games and 1 point off the bottom. He could have no complaints if he's gone by Tuesday's game.

Yeah Mansfield and Exeter were dreadful games. And we could have lost both as easily as winning them

I was thinking more about specific chances we missed within those games, as opposed to the overall performances being great. We weren't really creating anything for the first six or so games this season, which is where we've progressed from.

But less than 4 points and it's simply untenable. His managerial career could hinge on a lucky deflection or a poor miss.

He can legislate to an extent, Maybe he shouldn't keep selecting Lane who keeps missing very good opportunities.

I fear that the performance on Tuesday will be another poor one showing that the progression really isn't that clear.

We created chances to miss. Much more like it than not creating chances, which is what the preceding games were like. It is at least something for the fans to get behind during a match. Put in the same level of performance on Tuesday and we should be fine. If not, then serious questions can be asked.

There are several - large player turnover is a fact of life in L1, shorter contracts than higher up the pyramid and better players leaving.
