Snowflake Royal You seem to be confused. Howe didn't own Reading, Dai did. Howe was a facilitator, not a decision maker.

And they were liens!

Simple fact is that we don’t know the full story - in fact we hardly know any of it. Calling Howe a leech and various other names is not warranted.

Tbh, I don’t care. I don't really care how legit the amount owed is, how much Howe has tried to get it by other means.

He's trying to profit off our misfortune, and putting the club he was supposedly trying to save at risk just to line his pocket. He can do one.

Just before the transfer window. Likely hoping the club will give him the money to avoid a potential transfer embargo.

We know from the Olise agent saga that it's the sort of trick Howe would pull.

If it was that clear cut, I’d have thought RC would have paid him when it was due. People don’t tend to just randomly not pay someone to see if they notice. It’s obviously a disputed fee. The interesting element here is sadly what we aren’t privy to: why it’s disputed.

If it’s for services rendered for overseeing the sale, my guess would be that RC doesn’t think the service met the standard required. I’m guessing that as RC is a lawyer, there are reasonable grounds for refusing to meet this payment.

There was something in November, that as far as I can see, went in Howe's favour. So I'm not a big fan of the club going "The club denies any claims made against it."

I wonder when our seven days to respond are up.
