The outcome of the Everton interest in Stephen Hunt will once and for all put some belief and understanding to the chairmans often used words " this shows the ambition of the club" I await with interest.

If Coppell and co are to stick to their word, then any bid for Hunt has to be at least £5M (what we are led to believe we have turned down before) plus the hefty premium that Coppell said the club would levy for any last minute deals. By my reckoning a hefty premium would be at least 20% so any bid below £6M should be rejected outright.
