No idea if Richardson is actually any good or not but, like I said before Hunt was sacked, I have no faith whatsoever in the current board to actually bring in anyone better

Agree with Brogue that LR was never right for the club. Surely he will be gone by Monday.

It'd be absolute insanity and stubborness for them to keep Leam after that.

Just get Selles back; knows a lot of the players and strong bond with the fans - owners won’t as they’ll want their own choice and will probably stubbornly persevere with LR, even when it’s plain it’s not working.

Hunt sacked 9 points off the play offs
Richardson finishes 12 points off the play offs

While I agree with the sentiment I don’t think there’s much chance he’ll go. He’ll get until Xmas to prove he’s got things right and in a way there is some sense in that as just continually sacking people every x months is pretty much what got this club where it is today.

Not sure that’s the best stat. That means he was 3 points off play off form in his time here and a considerable improvement in the form under Hunt

How about:
3 wins in our last 12 for Richardson
3 wins in the last 12 for Hunt

I know most won’t agree but I truly believe we would have finished higher up the table if Hunt had stayed.

If he had any character and bottle he'd resign tonight. He's the most boring negative manager I've ever seen watching Reading and I've been watching over fifty years.

The clown has clearly lost the dressing room and the fans , well the vast majority of them .

Forget the bollocks of where we were when he came , we were in a fantastic position to make the play offs and we then went and failed to win our last six games and had about three shots on target those six games .

He must have a skin as thick as a Rhino , just get out of our club

To the owners of Reading. Do you read these social media comments about the manager your regime appointed. If he was in a normal job he would be on a formal improvement plan with the end point being an improvement or dismissal.

Perhaps finishing below Wycombe will be what convinces Couhig to sack him?

Yeah cos his away record was so amazingly good wasn't it.... No thanks
The more I see of his management since he left the more I realise the squad wasn't that bad and he was absolute guff.

The owners have got themselves into a very awkward situation haven’t they? Could be a very messy summer

LR could well be done. I don’t think anyone would be at all sad to see him go now, including the players

So like for like... The football was no better under him.
Too many sentimental people saying it was a mistake to sack him.
He had to go, lost the fans and noone knew what the hell we were doing on the pitch.
And like Selles, the away record was an utter embarrassment.

I didn't want Parkinson either but I suspect he will now be available.... His stock might be high but I just wonder if he would consider the job. The time might be right.

Watched the Wrexham game earlier and they played fast passing football, good hold up play and worked so hard for each other, Everything that RFC under LR lack. People say LR has lost the dressing room,, but judging by our recent performances, I don’t think he even knows where it is.

I don't think Richardson will go. I'm fairly sure (but not 100%) that he should go.

But if Parky was available and wanted to do it, I'd probably make the switch.

Doubt they’ll bin him off yet. However he continues to sound utterly deluded in interviews. Can’t stand the football he has us playing.
