In a way though I think the television interference shirt, as it was known, was a major factor in creating the pressure to bring back the hoops after 9 years without. That away kit “the prisoner” also doubled up as Bournemouth’s home kit around the same time!

The best one from that era though was the red and yellow hooped away shirt, I'd love to see that come back again.
