Rather reveals that all is not well in some way behind the scenes though, be interesting to see what the club do in response. There is some talk in the media that the club’s senior management are holding an emergency meeting today which may well produce an “ultimatum” or two for various people
Must admit I am a big Salah fan, so I tend to sympathise with him.
OTOH “ not unhappy” Liverpool are in crisis.

It is very much part of the modern game for managers to worry about the next game.
Last night with Liverpool cruising Slot decided to make changes, probably because of having played earlier in the week and a European game next Tuesday.
Unfortunately it backfired.
Gomez for Bradley was understandable with Bradley on a yellow.
Most of us would have brought on Salah so that Leeds would then have a fresh striker to worry about and at that stage with Liverpool very much on top they could go looking for goals to put the game to bed rather than try to defend a lead.
Slot is far from being alone amongst managers in taking this approach and , as discovered last night, defending a lead ,with not the strongest of defences, doesn't always work.
I do feel a bit for Konate because he looks cumbersome but for most of every game he is strong in the air and is a good passer but there is always that one mistake in him and nearly every time it proves costly as it did last night.
2 points thrown away but at least some of the attacking moves were what we have come to expect compared to the pedestrian stuff against Sunderland.

Suggestion that Gerrard or Heitinga are being lined up as an interim/caretaker if Slot gets the elbow.
