Yes, everybody alludes to getting John O’Shea back, and I agree, but in reality, there’s little chance.
As a wildcard, Alex Pearce is out of contract with Millwall at the end of the season…ex captain, Reading lad, young enough to talk the talk with his charges.
Where’s Wally these days? (Lol)

23 Apr 2022 20:38I reckon O’shea’s CV Looks a little more impressive than Pearce’s !AthleticoSpizz wrote:Not a clue, but he has been benched for a lot of his last few seasons…maybe he has (been working to the badges), did O’Shea have any during his time here?
The “Reading lad” reference was purely applied to the many years spent with us.
Not a clue if it would work, but virtually 2 goals per game conceded over a whole season in our current format obviously isn’t.

23 Apr 2022 21:38Wants to solve our goals conceded with a good new defensive coach, suggests someone with no coaching experience. Are you Dai Yongge?AthleticoSpizz wrote:That’s a lot of goals conceded this season, do we even have one?

Conceded 23 goals under Ince in 15 games, 1.5 per game which would work out at 71 goals over the course of a season.YorkshireRoyal99 wrote:How many goals have we conceded under Ince and how does that compare to Pauno?

Conceded 61 goals under Pauno in 32 games, 1.9 per game which would work out at 88 goals over the course of a season.
Sorry, yes you're correct, not sure where I picked 15 from. I think it might be 15 points from 12 games, which is where I am getting confused.windermereROYAL wrote:Ince has been in charge for 12 games, correct though 23 conceded at 1.91 a game .Hendo wrote:Conceded 23 goals under Ince in 15 games, 1.5 per game which would work out at 71 goals over the course of a season.YorkshireRoyal99 wrote:How many goals have we conceded under Ince and how does that compare to Pauno?

We`ve shipped 85 goals so clowno oversaw 32 games conceding 82 at 1.93 a game, not too much in it, but the last 2 games letting in 7 probably gives it a distorted view.

25 Apr 2022 09:34We've conceded 4 goals in a game 3 times and 3 goals once. Still too many goals to be letting in over the course of a season with Ince in charge, although I don't doubt a summer bringing in his own players and further work on things with the team would see an improvement.windermereROYAL wrote:Ince has been in charge for 12 games, correct though 23 conceded at 1.91 a game .Hendo wrote:Conceded 23 goals under Ince in 15 games, 1.5 per game which would work out at 71 goals over the course of a season.YorkshireRoyal99 wrote:How many goals have we conceded under Ince and how does that compare to Pauno?
