How long will it take to return?

The dust has settled and we are now a League One club. How long do you think it will take us to return to the second tier? If I knew how to post a poll on here the options would have been:-

One year

Two to five years

Five to ten years

Never

The owner will fold the club first

I mulled over options 3 and 4, But as the EFL allows a loss of 30 million a year and we exceeded that by quite a lot, even if those losses were drastically reduced to say 1 million per month, is Dai going to throw away that amount for a few years to keep the clusdb afloat? So I would have gone for the last option.
How would you have voted?

2 to 5 years for me. I'm hoping we will be there or thereabouts next season, I just can't see us doing it straight away though. It's possible though.

3-5 years. Will be a slow, painful rebuild but ultimately come back with a far stronger team than what we came down with.

The club is still a mess. Dai hasn't got a fcuking clue how to run a football club, and having folded two clubs already, it doesn't bode well for us.

If Dai had taken Bowen's advice in January to sack Ince, we would have picked up a couple more wins and not found ourselves in this position. What is the point in bringing Bowen in to manager football operations when Dai who knows fcuk all, ignores his advice?!

We're going down with 16 players to start pre-season, some of which will want to leave. We can add several kids but it would be like a lottery win if all of them were good enough to play regulary. Then we need at least 10 experienced pros. It's a crazy amount of change for the second summer running, and with more cost-cutting to be done as well.

I can see another relegation fight next season and crowds nose-diving to 8000. It's fcuking grim, and that clown Dai needs to sell up and stay away from Football.

It's hard to say really. Depends what the owner does. If he reaffirms his commitment to supporting the club then we could bounce back in a year or two. I expect us to be challenging for promotion next season with the likes of Wigan, Barnsley, Derby, Portsmouth and Sheffield Wednesday (if they don't go up) and we don't see anymore issues like administration or points deductions.

The club is a mess yes, but we have much better facilities than most clubs at that level with a bigger ground so we should attract decent players to the club. If Dai leaves us in the mire I think it could be 10+ years with league two football heading our way.

I'll be cautiously optimistic and say we'll return in 3 years but I feel nothing but concerned about the future. The owner needs to make a statement to clarify to fans what their intentions are to calm the situation down a bit.
