Big plus one to that, used to love going to games at Twerton.skipper wrote:I'd love us to go and play Bath in Bath. Nice old school ground. Gives nice vibes. Great city etc.
Had a Pre season XI there a few years back, was a good day out and lovely ground!skipper wrote:I'd love us to go and play Bath in Bath. Nice old school ground. Gives nice vibes. Great city etc.
Neither have big grounds, a few hundred Reading fans at each won’t really be an issue. We played at Thatcham a couple of years ago and there weren’t very many Reading fans there.Rea Ding wrote:We're playing Thatcham and Basingstoke on the same day! Poor scheduling as Reading fans will go to both in decent numbers
Brian Carey is currently in Ireland organising an Ireland pre season tour. It won’t be US this season.Meatwad wrote:Whilst for obvious reasons I would love a USA preseason tour haha, sure the deal was struck too late if you will to get one done. Do think it will happen mind as Couhig would want to build the fanbase over here a bit I would think.
Yeah as I said quite sure some other things were somewhat already in the works and that is fine. Do think a USA preseason tour will be done at some point mind.Brogue wrote:Brian Carey is currently in Ireland organising an Ireland pre season tour. Bloody expensive travel compared to local countries like Ireland, Scandaweiga, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium etcMeatwad wrote:Yeah as I said quite sure some other things were somewhat already in the works and that is fine. Perhaps not but know some League One teams have came over here in the past. Though yes not a normal thing.Snowflake Royal wrote:Bloody expensive travel compared to local countries like Ireland, Scandaweiga, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium etcMeatwad wrote:Yeah as I said quite sure some other things were somewhat already in the works and that is fine. Can't see it while we're in L1.
