Ok, the website has finally recived some attention and we are on a new hosting platform.
We were running on hardware, OS, and software versions that were all 7+ years old, but are now up to date with everything. As of now all software packages are 100% up to date and we are running on the most recent stable versions of PHP, and the forum software. I've also added in some steps to try and counter the massive volume of bots, which seems to be working so far. There are a few minor bits and pieces I will update as we go, but otherwise the upgrade is now done and fingers crossed should run smoothly from now. Any major issues let me know.
