If you're in the middle of Reading with half an hour to spare - do visit this small exhibition at Reading Museum, Blagrave St (5 minutes walk from the station, less than 10 from the F1 bus stop). It's open from 10am Tuesday- Saturdays.
It's a celebration of the team / club that won Div 3 South in 1926, finished 14th in Div 2 and reached the FA Cup semi-final in 1927, the first season we were playing league football at a national level. Lots of Biscuitmen references including the rare FA Cup shaped biscuit tins.
• The exhibition is presented by Reading Museum in partnership with the Reading Society of Collectors and Historians (SOCAH).
• The display features medals, photographs, programmes, supporter memorabilia and rare football-related objects from the period.
