Oh what I would give for an Ian Harte right now. A dead ball specialist and just such a great player to watch. Senior is first but Harte is second.

Dariusz Wdowczyk. In the top 3, for my money.

I used to work with someone who was on the same FA coaching course as Dariusz. He played to a fairly decent non league level but he said that watching Dariusz repeatedly ping 50yd passes on a dime across the width of a pitch shattered any illusions he had that he was some sort of diamond in the rough just waiting to be discovered.

Micky Travers had a great left foot back in the day. Terrific shot with it.

Yes....in answer to how the question is worded, it has to be.

Wdowczyk is second....his long range passing was the best of anyone I've seen play for Reading, left or right foot.

As you can see from the time of my first post, the memory was a bit fuzzy. However, Olise of course, Salako, Ashdown in goal, Convey too. Dorsett currently. More to come!

Without a doubt Dariusz. Remember the first time me and my uncle saw him ping a 60-yarder to a specific lace hole on Gilkesy's left boot, we both looked at each other and mouthed 'Wow'.

Such an elegant cultured defender, if only he'd had a bit of pace. Then again if he had he wouldn't have been at Reading.

Worth the ticket on its own. Different gravy.

Ahem, I'd refer you all to my user name. :)

Although I'd be quite happy to have Dariusz Wdowczyk's Left Foot as an alternative.

Arguably the best player ever to put on a Reading shirt
