Best comeback?

Surely Saturday was the greatest of them all. I know there's the Wigan and Plymouth examples but to score 3 goals in 15 mins in the biggest match in the club's history, does it get any bigger than that?

Ipswich when Darren Bent score in injury time and then Ivar equalised straight away was good, albeit for slightly different reasons.

I was talking about our comebacks, this isnt anywhere near the Champions League comebacks in the past for Man U or Liverpool

I still rate the Plymouth one as the best of all cos it was the first game I ever went to. So there.

Archie's 2 goals in injury time against McGhee's Wolves to come back from 0-1 was memorable. Of course, we had nothing to play for then and the game was far less "important" than Saturday, but those were the wildest celebrations I ever experienced on the Southbank.

Wolves desperately needed the points to keep in touch with Barnsley, and looked to be safe as the 90th minute ticked by. The equaliser sparked delirium; a winner just after was incredible. I can even remember the date, 12/4/97.

Ahh, ok. Getting to the premiership after Terry Bullivant and Tommy Burns must be up there! As a game, Saturdays because it was so special and felt so tarnished after 21 minutes

I swear I saw one when we were 2-0 down and won 3-2 on Senior's last game for the side but can find no evidence of this.

6-0 down with Cureton getting four for them, then remarkably we came back to win 7-6 in stoppage time. Paul Brayson and Jim McIntyre getting hat tricks with the obligatory Darren Caskey free kick sealing all three points.

At least that's how I remember it, but my memory could be playing tricks on me.

Reading's 2-1 win over Millwall a few season sticks in my mind for some reason. If i remember right, Dichio put them ahead at half time .. and Kiton and Forster scored in the 70th and 80th mins

It's got to be the Wolves game with the Archie brace for me. I was so angry that the re let their goal stand it was brilliant beating the arrogant cheating bastards that day.

The 4-3 Plymouth is before my time unfortunately otherwse I imagine it would be that one for me.

I don't remember much about the wigan playoff, I was in the upper West I think. All I know is I enjoyed it a lot.

I could be wrong here, but I recall us coming us coming back from 0-4 down against West Brom when Ron Atkinson was manager in maybe 78 or 79, to win 5-4 in midweek game at Elm Park, the old league cup I think.
Can anyone else remember the game, or the details?
