'Fantastic,' are you sure?Ian Royal wrote:I think it's unlikely seeing as he's done sweet FA in England having made only 19(?) appearances. On top of that he managed a couple of good performances for a disappointing Czech Republic in the summer.
I'm sorry I forgot he scored a wonder goal against Liverpool.
Pompey would need fantastic scouts to spot him, have faith that he has recovered from his injury and faith that he can prove he can adapt to football in England.

Yeah, but that was 'Arry's policy - no-one yet knows if Adams will have the same minimum height requirement.Sun Tzu wrote:....He's not Pompey's sort of player though, being well under their qualifying height.

Which of their players is his international team-mate ?Hoop Blah wrote:'Fantastic,' are you sure?Ian Royal wrote:I think it's unlikely seeing as he's done sweet FA in England having made only 19(?) appearances. We played inthe same league as them last season, we're just up the road and the guy played in the Euro Championships over the summer and is a teammate of one of their top players. I don't think it takes a massive network of scouts to see a little bit of potential in a pretty local player!
Not sure I can see Mateovsky going to Pompey mind, especially if it's to fill a Diarra type whole in their squad (although Adams might not be looking to replace like for like of course).

Exactly what I was going to say. Diarra is a replacement for Mahamadou Diarra, another DM. Matejovsky would not fit the role were he to replace Diarra.Mr Angry wrote:Diarra is a tough tackling, water carrying defensive midfielder - the very things Marek isn't.
....very good point!Chuckle Brother wrote:Can't be Kranjcar.
Unless I'm very much mistaken Croatia and The Czech Republc are different countries.

I suspect most Premiership clubs 'know' about every player playing international football, and probably most playing for reasonable club sides.
He's not Pompey's sort of player though, being well under their qualifying height.
