Reading have been drawn to play Peterborough United in the second round of the League Cup. The game will take place at the Madjeski Stadium - probably on Wednesday 29th August with an 8pm kick-off. The Royals are very familiar with facing Peterborough Untied in Cup competitions after playing them three seasons in a row from 1997 to 1999. On all three occassions the first leg was a draw followed by a Royals victory to see them through to the next round. Expect to see dramatically reduced ticket prices for this fixture and a second choice starting eleven as Reading try out some squad players in a competitive fixture.
