Not exactly true, £10 tickets for 60 & over at Bradford.Sutekh wrote:From the Reading OS

Replay prices would match those of the initial tie:
Adults £15
16 & under £5
65 & over £10
17-21 £10
But if you do that why not just play on the Saturday?download wrote:I saw somewhere a suggested that it is played on a Friday evening and scrub the Saturday game for Bradford and Reading.
Thus match can be televised without any issues and both sides have a fair crack at getting players ready.
Well you couldn't have it kicking off 3-5 on the Saturday and the early/late kickoff would be reserved for, or going up against, thw Premier League, so in theory the Friday would make most sense.Royal Ginger wrote:But if you do that why not just play on the Saturday?download wrote:I saw somewhere a suggested that it is played on a Friday evening and scrub the Saturday game for Bradford and Reading.

Hope it's not on Tuesday as I'm working late that day ... may be able to get it off but not sure yetHarpers So Solid Crew wrote:We want the television money, we play when they get best viewing figures. Liverpool have a live sky game next Monday. so their replay will be the following weekHarpers So Solid Crew wrote:We want the television money, we play when they get best viewing figures. Whether it is on tv or not is immaterial in relation to the UEFA rules regarding premier competitions being played at the same time their games are.Harpers So Solid Crew wrote:We want the television money, we play when they get best viewing figures. I very much hope we rest players on Saturday if the game is on Monday, the league is over for us this season as I see it, some think we can still be dragged in to the relegation fight, I can't see it. FA Cup is the priority now, play the best team tomorrow and hopefully get a win, rest players against a team we were likely to lose to anyway.Haag Royal wrote:Apologies if this has already been mentioned but Just got ticket for Watford and during the call discussed the replay date.
Evidently Reading and Bradford asked Watford and Notts County to move the games to Friday and both refused. Can't blame them really
Whole situation reminds me a bit the year we went down from the Prem first time when Portsmouth fielded a weakened side v Fulham. Fulham won and went on to stay up on GD. Hope we don't field a weakened team on Saturday but on the other hand would not blame the club at all if we did.
