Not an ex player technically but an interview with McDermott and Ady Williams
An excellent listen thoroughly recommend. Going for the Kitson one next.

Could have re-signed him a few years ago when he was out of contract

AthleticoSpizz A decent listen, and a complex character, our Dave, pulls no punches.
Still remains my ‘modern day’ hero

From Despair To Where? Adkins claims he feigned injury to engineer a move to Palace, Kebe claims he had a hamstring tweak.. Considering he had spent the previous 6 months out injured, I would imagine the truth lies somewhere between the 2, and in all likelihood, Kebe didn't see the value in potentially aggrivating an injury in a relatively unimportant fixture.

Kebe had to be persuaded not to leave the January we got promoted. Greater player on his day (of which there were many) but always struck me as a bit soft and the sort to be a hypochondriac. Pretty unreliable sort and well past his prime by the time he left.
