He has spoken before about walking away when the time is right, he did that at Dortmund and wasn't necessarily up for the Liverpool job when it came along. He's looked pretty broken these last couple of weeks, of course related to his mother passing, but I wonder if he might walk away, not least if FSG's approach stays the same. An Mbappe or Haaland would put a new stake in the ground, but I can't see the owners funding it.
