Whilst I agree with your general chagrin at the parking, I went to the League Cup game there a few years ago and it's a very good set up overall. Nice little modern ground and straight in and out on to the A12.Sutekh wrote:In. Colchester also allow you to buy parking (£7.50) at their ground on their OS as, in the usual twattery with new stadia, the ground is right by the A12 to encourage car travel but then there's naff all other parking around so you're caught by the club to be fleeced at whatever they charge plus have one acces road in and out of the parking.
Be careful if travelling by rail as there are two stations in Colchester and they're both called Colchester(avoid Colchester Town which I think is the main one)
Ground guide
Reading have been there once before, back in August 2015, when Gunter scored in a 1-0 League Cup win.

Managed to book an away ticket on the Colchester website walking up to the ground from the P&R, and had a QR code emailed. Thankfully didn't have to use the self-service machine.RG30 wrote:https://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/2024/a ... y-preview/Tickets went off sale through the Reading FC Ticket Office at 12 midday on Tuesday, however you can purchase from Colchester United on the day.
