Fanatics and merchandising

It now seems that a far greater and wider range of merchandising, of the type a lot of supporters were looking for, was hidden away by someone in a large stores area somewhere in the SCL!

I wonder how much of that was a Fanatics decision not to put it out vs what the staff didn't know about.

I can somewhat understand the old kit; training wear; etc. not going out to not compete with the current stuff, but bags; hats; gifts; etc. not going out doesn't make any sense to me.

Pricing is a bit eyewatering (£60 for a t shirt £80 for a Polo shirt) suppose that’s the issue with doing it yourself though.

Fairly certain they were broadly the prices under Fanatics.

The club did sell off a lot of things relatively cheaply at the open training day - got a puffer jacket for £40 and a rain coat for £25. IIRC, the equivalent latest puffer jacket in the club shop was £90ish. Implies the mark up is very large on the latest versions.

The OS says everything is sold out? I hope the range of merchandise improves. Just look at other clubs they have way much more choice. Take scarves for example there is one on the OS whilst Oxford have a ten different designs.

I wonder if everything's 'sold out' as they do a stocktake with the John Lewis store opening yesterday(?).

I had a quick look in there before the game and it's very much the same sort of stuff as in the club shop - just in a more central location.
