Car park 6 for Orient game

This is showing as not available for the Orient game. Is it because it's already sold out, or is it simply not in operation?

If it's the latter, that's a lot of capacity removed with no mention that I've seen, putting extra strain on the already crowded buses, and making life difficult for non-bus users.

Unfortunately there are currently contract issues as now that Virgin Media does not use the Greyhound car park any more, the owners of the car park now want us pay the entire yearly contract, even though we use the car park less than once every other week. So we are currently in negotiations with them, it may be the case that it is resolved before Saturday and that the car park will be open which is what we are hoping for, it just depends how long it takes for discussions regarding them changing their minds about payment.

We are hoping to have this resolved as soon as possible.

Car Park 6 is now back on sale for Saturday, it will be available up until Stevenage at the moment and then hopefully we will be able to continue with it through the season

That's great it's fixed for now, and thanks for the update.

In the longer term, parking and transport generally is obviously going to be a problem. Hopefully it will lead to better solutions, and of course, we'll need this as crowds increase.

Sorry, only just seen this. It hasn't been - no.

Depending on where you're coming from, it may worth considering getting a shuttle bus from Mereoak - free parking; £4.50 return bus.
