you mean they've done the bare minimum of what a paying customer expects a burger joint to be? Clean with safe food... yeah i guess we can praise them for that. But they are not winning any great taste awards
You're so negative it's really unreal - the owners have actually paid a pretty substantial transfer fee and all you can do is whinge. I mean seriously.
There’s always those that don’t wait to see and judge things first, just go right on with their narrative. Who knows whether Kyreece will be the worst ever signing or a right little diamond until he’s played a few games? He’ll probably be somewhere in between as a lot of it will come down to the management’s plans for the team overall. No point buying a Lamborghini and then teaming it up with a couple of tractors and a rusty 2CV.
Please point out where I said anything negative about this signing?

Was picking up on the observation made by RW, I lost the thread of allegory so pardon me if I’ve got the wrong stick but you do have some previous - with managers for example.

Well next time perhaps have a read back for context and before jumping on bandwagons.
Now that’s not me saying I don’t like the signing, I think it’s the sort of player we should be going for, young and up and coming.
And as i say this isnt a slight on lisbie, by all accouts he's a good up and coming player. We matched sheff wed and huddersfiled offers -
look im not bashing couhig over this signing
I'm not complaining about the player; I've said I think it's a good signing. I'm not complaining about the owners; I think it's good that they have signed him.
My involvement in this thread is in reply to a poster who asked whether my opinion on Couhig has changed now we've signed Lisbie. My response is no, I'm not going to start sucking his dick for performing his duties as custodian of this club, one of which is bringing new players in. Which is what most clubs do, most windows. And I don't see why there needs to be massive fanfare or me changing my mind because we've signed one player - The bare minimum I would expect of an owner of a football club to do, especially on the back of 13 players leaving.

Signing number one, the first signing, is done and dusted. Bravo! Congratulations!

The squad still doesn't have a lot of quality (are any other teams known to be trying to poach our players - even the Savage rumour hasn't progressed) or depth

So any idea when the next one is due?

Are there any "special dates" coming up? I seem to remember seeing June 30th as a deadline for something (contract expiry date?) so do we expect more movement around then?

Thanks - that's good to hear especially with pre-season training on the horizon

Nombe?

Love it. Any particular positions we are looking at with these. I know you will wait to put out what you know as they come.

I think Niskanen was a back up if Lisbie didn’t come off, Fred is supposedly getting closer, Collins is not a bad shout but I think this will only happen if Savage is sold. more likely Doyle on a Permanant. The third is likely to be a CB or RB. Unknown??

I think striker will take time. Not sure if it will be Nombe he has options Leicester have shown an interest and they need centre forwards as none left on there books…..

I don't think Nombe is the answer. I can just see him and Marriott injured and we're oxf*rd.

Name a striker that can’t get injured.

One of the Higher Uppers said this window would be about bringing in '5 or 6' quality signings rather than doing a lot of signings...

Since then Richie and Williams have retired so I am assuming that the '5 or 6' accounted for those two - which means we have 3 'signings' done and 2/3 to come?...

Plus replacing any 'under contract' players who leave?...

Or will there be more, given we had a lot of loans and injuries last season...

Are you fcuking stupid in incapable of reading? Ive already said the transfer is good and ive already said well done to the owners. I was specifically targeted a couple of pages back saying am I not happy with the owners now after this signing. I’m not moaning or complaining about anything, I’m simply replying saying no, this hasn’t changed my opinion of the owners. So get back in your box twat.
Charming as well as being negative. Forgot to take your happy pills today?

Noted, thanks for answering my question. As you have just admitted to being fcuking stupid, educationally subnormal, and incapable of reading, I shall be a bit easier on you from now on. However, given your struggles, my advice would be to stay off the internet, as it isn't really suitable for someone like you.
