It's the silly season, no?
Yep. Be prepared for more of the same for most of the summer, probably till after the world cup at least.

No, that was Curo. Long lived in Shinfield near L'Ortolan, around the corner from Little and Harper.
Lita lived on the Eversley Road, 3 minutes drive in his Hummer from Hogwood.
Don't know if he still lives there, but I saw him when I was out for a walk during lockdown. He was on the phone, pushing a buggy, and he had hair, so I only noticed it was him as he was going past me.
Harper overtook me 3.5k into the Shinfield 10k early May Bank Holiday, so I would imagine he's still living around there somewhere

I assumed £200k referred to his personal terms

Yep. His recent interview with Ady on BBC Sounds was done in Shinfield.

Rumours of interest from unnamed Championship and L1 clubs now.

Wing's agent seems to be making it clear that his client wants out.

If wing was to go we'd be pretty screwed.

It's already clear to me at least that next year is not going to be a great season.

So….. if Wing and Savage want out sell them but sell them now or buy or sign there replacements whilst they find there clubs. Worst case scenario is to leave getting in replacements till the end of the window. I think if we can get Collins get him in whatever the scenario. Savage especially has 1 year left on his contract and would leave for nothing next summer.

Where have you read that?

A huge player for us and anyone who tries to downplay that is not worth listening to. But if the player's unhappy and there's Championship interest, what are we to do? It's the nature of being a L1 club.

Wing and Savage are great individual players in their own right however, something clearly hasn't been right with the whole midfield make up and balance the past few seasons and maybe a total makeover wouldn't be a bad thing. Don't get me wrong i would love Wingy to stay but if his mind isn't in it then let go before things turn toxic!
If Wing was to leave i would be looking at going all out to bring Doyle back as he can be that creative player we would be missing. Also, with Onyedinma and that guy Collins from Peterbrough on the radar plus Rinhomota now hopefully in a better place its not all doom and gloom especially as we now have a bunch of wingers that can cause issues :D

I don't disagree...

Selling Savage this window makes financial sense, given his contract and Man U sell on %...

However, Wing, whilst individually is great at this level, doesn't seem to blend into an effective unit with whoever else we have played with him....

If he aspires to play at a higher level and we can max a fee for him, it may be a sacrifice worth making to enable a more effective team to be built...

And maybe retain CS for longer?..

Weird reply. Firstly this is a fairly low activity thread.

Secondly, it's a general chat forum so conversation does often flow to other areas and tangents

Thirdly, I think it is interesting where they lived. Especially with some being from our best ever period.

Fourthly, if you don't like to, stfu and scroll on. Setting rules and shit posting like you've done is just antisocial

Yes but on threads like this ie key players possibly leaving or players joining where people are checking on updates, a load of drivel and bollocks like “I’d rather have…” is fcuking tedious and fcuking annoying. And probably not good for any of us.

Savage/Wing midfield does not work, not that fussed if they both go.
