Wonder how many times that will get used…

Oof, nice!

Shame we'll only wear it twice.

Oooh! The first top I ever owned - it was the only one left in the club shop (shack) at the time. Fond memories of being regaled with chants of "WTF is that" by some bunch of away fans outside the New Inn c.1995.

Hope they don't turn it into another tea towel, even if the colour scheme is a good one.

I'd be intrigued to see how many shirts the club have sold since the end of the season. Keeping last season's kits at full price can't have done much to encourage sales. I think it's a pretty safe assumption they've cut a very skewed deal with Fanzone and are now sitting on a mountain of unsold stock. A safe assumption from that, in my view, is that the new kit will be astronomically priced in an attempt to recoup those losses.

How much are shirts (not just Reading but anyone’s shirt) generally these days? Has any club/country reached what would be the utterly disgusting £100 mark yet?

It’s also got a tenuous partnership with Reading Festival.

My son made an interesting observation: last season's digital season ticket gave a nod to the Wetherspoon plate pattern.

This season, it's just a solid blue block. Maybe that indicates a more traditional kit... or perhaps the design just isn't ready yet!

Let's hope it's the former 🙏
