Why not just back to United given the manager who discarded him is no longer there?

No thanks, I like him, but his time is done

In the least surprising news so far this summer, Ibrahima Konate, who until last week said his new Liverpool contract was basically complete, has agreed terms with Real Madrid, and will join them on a free transfer.

A better passer of the ball than people give him credit for.
He is a big old unit but with that comes some awkwardness especially when he gets on the wrong side of a forward.

Nowhere near as bad as many have made him out to be and he is a rare Liverpool player with a Premier League medal.

Man Utd sign Atalanta's Ederson for €40M rising to €45M

Can't say I know much about the guy. Centre midfielder who apparently has crazy levels of fitness and can run and run all day long.

Basically I think he is what Ugarte was meant to be.

I'm sure the powers that be at Barcelona know more than me about football, but nevertheless spending £80m on Antony Gordon and then, as reported, choosing not to activate the €30m buy clause on Rashford's loan deal, well, that's a thing. Bizarre.

28 and nearing 500 club appearances in his career - Rashford looks likely to return to Old Trafford after the World Cup.

City make an offer worth £120m for Elliot Anderson.

On a day where Everton were ordered to pay Burnley £35m for their PSR breach (Everton will appeal), I can't help but wonder what claims will follow against City should they be found guilty of any of the substantial charges against them.

Why not reprieve Burnley from their relegation last season and relegate Everton instead. Would seem to be the fair way to balance things.

There should be an end-of-season award known as the 'Everton award'. It's for teams that promise something early on but slowly fade out of every competition. Most years this would go to Everton (bar relegation battle years), but Fulham and Palace would also be in with a shout.

It would also be moderately amusing, if the 35m payment causes Everton to breach PSR again.

Given how the football finance rules seem to work it'll probably have the opposite affect and somehow they'll be able to overspend by the amount of the fine.

Was just reading how Newcastle have no sell on clause for Eliot Anderson due to the deal to take him to Forest being rushed through in a panic to get it done by the accounting deadline, and Dan Ashworth had already left Newcastle which meant that the CEO was left overseeing transfers until they found another Sporting Director

Real Madrid could have a player in the Spain world cup squad. They agree a deal with Chelsea for Marc Cucurella.
