Would anyone take a straight swap Liam Moore for Jordan Hugil if they offered it?
probably be well worth considering.Old Man Andrews wrote:Was having a think about Premier League clubs who need CB's of Moore's level and West Ham came to mind.

Yes I would. The value of goals at this level outweighs what Moore could prevent at the other end.Old Man Andrews wrote:Was having a think about Premier League clubs who need CB's of Moore's level and West Ham came to mind.

If it isn't Brighton it will be someone else. Moore is reasonably affordable and good enough to start in any of the lower half Premier League teams. Reading would be wise to tout him around as we could significantly improve our squad with the transfer money.bluerinse wrote:Brighton have had a £8m bid for Aston Villa defender James Chester rejected. They could both be targets and both are in the bidding process of obtaining the player. Also could be a negotiation ploy by Brighton to say we are looking elsewhere if a fee cant be agreed soon.Old Man Andrews wrote:If it isn't Brighton it will be someone else. Would say it is more the case that BHA are looking to take advantage of getting a CB with PL experience from a club in turmoil on the relative cheap.bluerinse wrote:Brighton have had a £8m bid for Aston Villa defender James Chester rejected. Depends on how screwed they are and what the terms of the loan were. It may be a "done deal" just dependant on us paying an agreed fee by a certain date.Hound wrote:...and if Chester does go as seems quite likely, surely has big implications for Elphick coming to us. With Terry and Chester gone, doubt they will let him go as well
Nah, some would still think he is not good enough for us, loses the ball and a headless chicken.Hound wrote:probably be well worth considering.Old Man Andrews wrote:Was having a think about Premier League clubs who need CB's of Moore's level and West Ham came to mind.
