Hein must be the most bizarre signing we have ever madegenome wrote:Much better signing than Hein ever was
Far from it. The goalkeeping coaches I've spoken to about him all said he was a decent keeper and better than Southwood. In my own opinion he played pretty well in the few games he had with us and seemed to inspire more confidence in his team mates.Loafer wrote:Hein must be the most bizarre signing we have ever madegenome wrote:Much better signing than Hein ever was
He only signed a one year deal in August and they brought in Freddie Woodman in January - and even he is just warming the bench. Nyland would have left them in the summer any way so made sense for all parties for him to leave in Jan to try and find first team football somewhere.morganb wrote:Surprised Bournemouth let him go, sounds like a keeper to me...
Think he will be, not sure, was that Thorvaldsson bloke Norwegian or Icelandic?morganb wrote:The first Norwegian to play for Reading?

He’s an average shot stopper and he might have a worldie once in every 20 or so games, but he’s one of the most unnatural goalkeepers I’ve ever seen. He doesn’t look comfortable in goal.
