People prefer a club facing 115 charges and still have to be proven innocent, but most people want them to win it just because they`re up against the gunners.
It`s weird.
It's less about the team and more about anyone who's spent more than 5 minutes on social media knowing that their fanbase are a bunch of insufferable bellends.

Pretty much like every fanbase then, I have the same opinions about Liverpool fans.

No, Arsenal fans are way, way worse than any other fanbase and it all started with AFTV.

Actually, it probably goes back even further than that. The Fast Show was taking the piss out of Arsenal fans for being clueless fcukwits 30 years ago.

LOL knew you were talking about AFTV! Was gonna post earlier, backing you up with them as an example.

Robbie is cool, but the rest are a bunch of bellends

You also get a shit load of thick melts on social media using AFTV as some sort of template for how "real" fans are supposed to act.

If I hadn't had a year of Arsenal social media for some reasoning telling me that they were winning the quadruple and Arteta was the greatest manager of all time (career trophies to date?) I might be happy to see them win something. But as it is the entitled twats can do one and I'm thoroughly enjoying them bottling it again

They'll win the worst quality league for many a year just because everyone else has had periods of being gash. Its a shame a team from outside the "big 6" didn't do a Leicester this season.

Yes, they won‘t bottle the League now, unfortunately. They will get well beaten in the CL semis, but enjoy Spurs getting relegated.

Olise to score the winning goal in the CL final and make sure Munich won’t sell him this summer at any price (not that they would anyway).

If City wins their game in hand and beats Arsenal in two weeks time, they'll be 3 points behind with 5 games left

Ok, so you say City will be Champions. We’ll come back in a month.

Dunno! Just think it might be closer than expected

Also, it shows how shite Arsenal's football is that I'm rooting for City

None of the leading teams are appealing at the moment. I wish Villa, BHA or Fulham had been playing PSG tonight. Could not have carried less threat than Liverpool did.

The funniest outcome would be Arsenal being top all year, then bottling it. City wins but are stripped of the title after the 115 charges are resolved. Basically, the title is slid across the table to Arsenal mid-summer...no parade, muted celebrations. If their fans ever bring it up, you just remind them that they came second

Yeah sure-great ambition shown by extending Maguire's contract. :D

Currently, I'd rather have Maguire in my team than the massively overrated Virgil.

ok digs out of the way...

I'd say it's just a practical choice. In an ideal world, you might move him on. However, next Monday we'll have two teenagers playing at CB against Leeds because De Ligt has fooked his back and probably won't be playing again this season, and Martinez has also had a number of injuries.

He's actually played pretty well for a while now. I looked up his numbers, and he tends to be in the top 10% for most of the things you'd want a defender to be doing. Totally overpaid for him, but that's not his fault. We probably got reasonable value for him in the end, £10M a season
