That fukking “North London Forever” song genuinely makes me feel nauseous. It’s even somehow worse than that song the Thais made for us. Mainly because Arsenal fans all sing it so earnestly and with such enthusiasm.![]()

An Everton win on Sunday might mean that experience is lost to the PL next seasonWinston Biscuit wrote: ↑20 May 2026 08:43 agree on the song being genuinely appalling and cringe. the only thing that saves it is Spurs fans singing 'when the Spurs go marching in' really slowly is maybe the worst thing in all of world football, and yes I am including multiple disasters in that.
I’m going to suggest Chelsea will win it next year, great manager in Alonso and likely no European football to help concentrate matters.Sanguine wrote: ↑20 May 2026 09:00 Very pleased for Arsenal. And for the Premier League to have gone a couple of seasons with a City title.
Arsenal immediately favourites next season. City look like they will enter a transition (does Haaland stay?), Liverpool very much in one, Chelsea going backwards and will be inching towards all sorts of financial issues - albeit Alonso is a shrewd appointment (finally). Maybe United the dark horses, excellent turnaround under Carrick.
They`ve fallen well short this season,it`s a big ask for new manager will turn it around in one season.Sutekh wrote: ↑20 May 2026 09:10I’m going to suggest Chelsea will win it next year, great manager in Alonso and likely no European football to help concentrate matters.Sanguine wrote: ↑20 May 2026 09:00 Very pleased for Arsenal. They might also be in the running for a UEFA ban I believe, so achieving a conference place could be a bit of a Baldrick.windermereROYAL wrote: ↑20 May 2026 09:19They`ve fallen well short this season,it`s a big ask for new manager will turn it around in one season.Sutekh wrote: ↑20 May 2026 09:10I’m going to suggest Chelsea will win it next year, great manager in Alonso and likely no European football to help concentrate matters.Sanguine wrote: ↑20 May 2026 09:00 Very pleased for Arsenal. Aren`t they in the running for a conference league place?

I think they've been the best team (or had the best squad) for the last 3 seasons so they really did need to get over the line this year. Think City have been in transition this season and the woes of Liverpool and Chelsea have certainly helped Arsenal. Not a massive fan of Arteta in some ways but he's built an incredible squad and as I said a couple of months ago, this could be their most successful season ever. I couldn't understand how vitriolic some of the criticism was.Sanguine wrote: ↑20 May 2026 09:00 Very pleased for Arsenal.
