My missus is an Arsenal fan and is reminding me today why everyone hates Arsenal fans.

That fukking “North London Forever” song genuinely makes me feel nauseous. It’s even somehow worse than that song the Thais made for us. Mainly because Arsenal fans all sing it so earnestly and with such enthusiasm. :x

agree on the song being genuinely appalling and cringe. the only thing that saves it is Spurs fans singing 'when the Spurs go marching in' really slowly is maybe the worst thing in all of world football, and yes I am including multiple disasters in that.

An Everton win on Sunday might mean that experience is lost to the PL next season

Very pleased for Arsenal. And for the Premier League to have gone a couple of seasons with a City title.

Arsenal immediately favourites next season. City look like they will enter a transition (does Haaland stay?), Liverpool very much in one, Chelsea going backwards and will be inching towards all sorts of financial issues - albeit Alonso is a shrewd appointment (finally). Maybe United the dark horses, excellent turnaround under Carrick.

I’m going to suggest Chelsea will win it next year, great manager in Alonso and likely no European football to help concentrate matters.

Yea i am pleased for Arsenal too. I like Arteta and think he's built an honest squad if that makes sense. A team full of hard workers, and one which has taken several years to get right. He deserves the success. Big fan of Declan Rice too and think he's a really good character with very little ego.

I am also very happy to NOT see Man City win the league - especially with the outstanding charges and the utter joke it is that they're jsut allowed to carry on winning and participating. I realise they've not been found guilty, but I just don't like the whole thing.

They`ve fallen well short this season,it`s a big ask for new manager will turn it around in one season.
Aren`t they in the running for a conference league place?

Pleased to see Arsenal win it, they've been knocking on the door for a few seasons now and they definitely deserve it. Just need Spurs to drop now

Yes, other than that song, very well done Arsenal. I hope the English players in the team can take this into the World Cup.

They might also be in the running for a UEFA ban I believe, so achieving a conference place could be a bit of a Baldrick.

I think they've been the best team (or had the best squad) for the last 3 seasons so they really did need to get over the line this year. Think City have been in transition this season and the woes of Liverpool and Chelsea have certainly helped Arsenal. Not a massive fan of Arteta in some ways but he's built an incredible squad and as I said a couple of months ago, this could be their most successful season ever. I couldn't understand how vitriolic some of the criticism was.

Also hopefully we won't have to hear about "long suffering Arsenal fans" for a few years now.
