If Pompey get wound up in a couple of weeks time it could boost our promotion chances. They beat us earlier this season whereas I would imagine quite a few of the promotion sides have won against them.

I believe West Ham have beaten them twice. I am surprised no one has done the amended league.
Unless Chanerai coughs up some real money, or finds someone who thinks there is any value still to be had, then it is a very real possibility. You have to recall that under the last CVA the parachute payments they are entitled to are already assigned against the football debts. IIRC didn't they claim £100m? and parachute payments are ?£16m a season. That is a LOT of debt that is still on the books- and don't football creditors HAVE to be paid under the FA laws? Those liabilities are they going to just vanish? What impact will that have on the clubs that are owed money by Pompey.

Even if the £1.6M is paid before the court date, the administer will still have to convince the court the company is solvent enough to trade. Clearly if they are not paying wages, then you have to question their solvency...can you imagine their creditors agreeing to another CVA?

It would be kinder to let them die now.

There is a full list of transfer fees, and outstanding amounts on there as well if anyone really has nothing better to do.

On the Assets there is computer/electronic equipment which has a book value of £19m. If the club is sold as a going concern this will remarkably be worth £30m. If the company is forced into liquidation, this asset is worthless. Good luck trying to find someone who thinks that makes any sense.
