Apart from Fulham. Won’t give those twats my money.
Charlton being back on the card is a big plus.
That’s a treck for me. Should do Brentford.
Yup, Brentford is a very easy one to do, even if it’s midweek.

When is their new stadium open? It looks brilliant.

We’re destined never to have that second pint Greeners.

How long does it take to go one side of London t'other?

I only really do one easy route through, major station to major station?

Brentford is about a 15 minute bus ride from Ealing broadway or 6 or 7 minutes from South Ealing. So by public transport from Cambridge I'm guessing train to Kings X, Piccadilly Line to South Ealing, bus to Griffin Park (there or there abouts). Or train into Liverpool St, Central Line to Ealing Broadway...

Should take less than an hour from either station

Edit: (I dont' drive at all, so I've only ever been to away games by public transport. )

I live in Putney, not far from Craven Cottage in SW London. Takes me about 70 minutes to get to the vicinity of the Olympic Stadium in East London. Think it would take about 80 from the Cottage.

Charlton is a bit more awkward - probably about 90 minutes but I've never done that journey.

North-South is generally quicker than East-West. SW-SE is the worst of all.

Cheers. Just wondered with London based nobbers saying some London based games are too hard to get to.

Brentford is easy on the Reading-Waterloo line, change at Feltham.

You've been here longer than me - last time we played Charlton I got SWR from Winnersh to Waterloo, the Jubilee line, and then a bus. That's still the route both my travel apps say to use from Waterloo. Apparently it's a 40-minute walk if you don't get the bus. I'd appreciate any local knowledge you can provide but all the services suggest it's a 70 minute journey for me.

Naively would have thought that being in a car would negate the time-consuming process of going in and out of central London on train. But then I'm not the sort of Londoner who has a use for a car.

This season is their last at Griffin Park so the 20/21 season. Need Brentford to be at a good date, like going to Griffin Park

Get the overground from London Bridge to Charlton, that's just round the corner from the Valley

Last time I did Reading -> Padders -> Tube to Waterloo -> short walk to Waterloo East -> Charlton. Not too bad.

Last time I went there was the 2-1 League Cup loss, where we witnessed a Bongani Khumalo masterclass

I also remember Shaun Cummings clearing a header off the line with an overhead kick
