I'd say McDermott round 2 and Clarke were sensible. Clement had also done OK at Derby. But generally every appointment has come out of nowhere and made no sense.
Hopefully new owners do better.
Bowen did well, but it was very much a "wtf?" appointment.Snowflake Royal wrote:Bowen.WestYorksRoyal wrote:When did we last appoint a manager who didn't make us think "wtf?".

I did warn that relegation would be a disasterILoveMoonPig wrote:I'm actually approaching a point of just accepting relegation. We're starting to fall behind now and don't look like winning anything. I just hope that we can start bedding in foundations of a team to compete in league 2.

A few of us did. But no it was the great reset. The problem is if the takeover takes another 3 months ... having an interim coach for 3 months does not really make sense, does it? Like others I've pretty much accepted relegation, so it's probably worth waiting for new ownership and bring someone in that can start the rebuild for next season.morganb wrote:Interim manager-to-be, Noel Hunt, is with the Unders in Aldershot tonight so I'd expect Selles to still be in charge for the Cup game tomorrow.
If there is any chance of him going before any takeover then surely this International Break would make most sense due to the gap to our next match?
