Aye. I take no pleasure in it, but softens the blow slightly.URZZZZ wrote:Nice one, even if it was bad for us!Pepe the Horseman wrote:Tonight I've gone with 3-3 at 90/1 and 1-3 at 18/1.
They were 2/1 before the game. Mental considering how shite Wolves starting 11 was.Skin wrote:Southampton will beat Wolves in the cup after watching the first 20 mins 5/4 in play is massive. Lump on.
Why should it pain you?Pepe the Horseman wrote:As much as it pains me, I've had a few quid on Bamford to make the Euros at 8/1.
Yeh, I cashed out and went back in at 10s with Sky Bet.RG30 wrote:He's 10/1 on Betfair

He seems like a really decent lad, articulate for a footballer who has succeeded by persevering and working hard.
I think that's a fair bet considering that there are so few options up front especially with Vardy not under consideration.
But he's a lad from Nottingham, picked up Chelsea, loaned to 'Boro, Palace etc and has finally come good at Leeds so perhaps you should think of him as just passing through Yorkshire.Pepe the Horseman wrote:Just because I despise Leeds.South Coast Royal wrote:Why should it pain you?Pepe the Horseman wrote:As much as it pains me, I've had a few quid on Bamford to make the Euros at 8/1.

Nothing personal, it's just the media love in that Bielsa and Leeds will get if one (or possibly two) of their players go to the Euros that will make me want to kill myself. And yes, I despise both of the posters mentioned above. Although I think Despair lives in Liverpool.South Coast Royal wrote:But he's a lad from Nottingham, picked up Chelsea, loaned to 'Boro, Palace etc and has finally come good at Leeds so perhaps you should think of him as just passing through Yorkshire.Pepe the Horseman wrote:Just because I despise Leeds.South Coast Royal wrote:

Do you despise our poster (either Kerplunk or Despair, I never remember which) who lives up that way?![]()
Anyway, a good value bet and well spotted.
I think Bielsa has performed a miracle.Pepe the Horseman wrote:Nothing personal, it's just the media love in that Bielsa and Leeds will get if one (or possibly two) of their players go to the Euros that will make me want to kill myself. Yep, +1 for me there, Leeds are certainly one of the most attractive teams to watch in the Prem, they play with real pace and purposeSouth Coast Royal wrote:I think Bielsa has performed a miracle.Pepe the Horseman wrote:Nothing personal, it's just the media love in that Bielsa and Leeds will get if one (or possibly two) of their players go to the Euros that will make me want to kill myself. Not in taking a team, largely unchanged, from The Championship to mid-table in The Premier League but for making one of the most hated sides in the country to one that many (me included) quite enjoy watching.
One other media love, Fat Frank, managed to spend £200 million and make Chelsea a team that nobody wants to watch.

Will have to be a last minute job I suppose or stick to the higher leagues
