18 Aug 2019 11:41Hoping it’s down to having a knock, as there’s no other logical reason why we’d leave our best player on the bench. The bloke absolutely bossed the 2nd half at Hullgenome wrote:Rino took a couple of knocks at Wycombe, I believe

18 Aug 2019 11:48There's not been the barest hint of a suggestion that Rino wasn't fit to play until you said he might have picked up a couple of knocks at Wycombe after knowing he'd been dropped.genome wrote:Logic and measured thought, preferablyNewCorkSeth wrote:Well what else would we jump to? Players pick up knocks and play the next game all the time. He's on the bench, so even if he has a knock it can't be that bad. This sort of a decision out of the blue creates bad faith.
Against Wednesday we looked completely disorganised. We started badly against Hull. We struggled against Wycombe with a load of changes and different shape - still looking poor at defending set pieces. We decided to start the season with a novice 19 year old loanee in goal who hasn't given any confidence. We've abandoned the way we played moderately successfully last season and our top scorer, plus PotS have been dropped.
We talked about having to pay to move players on, but reportedly turned down loan deals gor players we don't want.
There is plenty of rational and measured reasons to be unhappy with how we've started this season and Gomes' selection and tactical approach so far.

18 Aug 2019 12:02No I don't think so. The fact we looked disorganised in what was close to the way we played for half of last season is a worry. It was not a problem of individual players, but coaching IMO. I don't think you help that by shuffling the pack and changing how you want them to play having drilled them during the summer differently. It's potentially going to lead to more confusion, doubt and uncertainty. The players will have to concentrate more on sticking to the new instructions rather than relaxing I to their natural game.Jagermesiter1871 wrote:Dont you answer your last points with your early remarks. Good Bacuna would walk all over our midfield. And score.

Looks like he's playing full back.
