You did, Jimbo. Everyone was so convinced by him when the appointment was announced and you were the one and only voice saying he should.never have been appointed.Royal_jimmy wrote:I did warn everyoneSutekh wrote:He should never have been appointed in the first place.leon wrote:Selles is incompetent and this team has a loser mentality at its core. Not as sick as I feel when Gabe Osho gets a man of the match award in the PL, or Loader scores for Porto, or Olise smacks one in from 30 yards for Palace. There are so many we've lost or missed out on over recent years that I'm getting used to it.ILoveMoonPig wrote:Does anyone feel vaguely sick watching Chris Wilder walk back into Sheffield United and see him have a nearly instant impact? If we can believe the press reports, we were so close to having him at manager.
Bit early for that, they've just beaten a Brentford side with no forwards currently, think they would have won that game anywayILoveMoonPig wrote:Does anyone feel vaguely sick watching Chris Wilder walk back into Sheffield United and see him have a nearly instant impact? Putting a positive slant, despite everything producing quality players still seems to be in our DNA. The problems all start with 1st team planning, which is an easier thing for a new owner to fix.Orion1871 wrote:Not as sick as I feel when Gabe Osho gets a man of the match award in the PL, or Loader scores for Porto, or Olise smacks one in from 30 yards for Palace. Wilder would have jumped at the first opportunity, something he has form for.ILoveMoonPig wrote:Does anyone feel vaguely sick watching Chris Wilder walk back into Sheffield United and see him have a nearly instant impact? Yeah guess that’s part of the issuetmesis wrote:Even if we did sack him, who would come in, knowing a new owner could come in and decide he wants somebody else in job?

No he wouldn't. He's said in the past he wouldn't want to manage us. That was back when he was with Bradford, but for whatever reason, he isn't fond of the idea of managing us, and considering how the club looks today, I doubt he'll have changed his mind.karbota wrote:Parky would jump at the opportunity, he would even take a pay cut!Hound wrote:Yeah guess that’s part of the issuetmesis wrote:Even if we did sack him, who would come in, knowing a new owner could come in and decide he wants somebody else in job?

Yeh, this. He would've walked before a ball had even been kicked.RG30 wrote:Wilder would have jumped at the first opportunity, something he has form for.ILoveMoonPig wrote:Does anyone feel vaguely sick watching Chris Wilder walk back into Sheffield United and see him have a nearly instant impact?
