I presume next season Barnsley will get a Champions League placeHound wrote:Brentford financially are in good shape I imagine. Sell Toney and they'll have another 20m in the bank, plenty enough to find a replacement. I can't see them not being strong in the champ next year
Swansea won't be as strong I doubt. Would their parachute's stop next year, or is that already up?
Bournemouth - would have to sell players you'd think. They can't keep the players they have on their size of club. But they'd still have some quality
Barnsley - who knows.
So yeah, would like to see Brentford go up tbh
Agree - you can't guarantee getting it right time and time again, they could well sign a couple of less effective playersHendo wrote:Wonder if Brentford don't go up, they'll end up struggling next year. Especially, like you said, when they eventually lose Toney to a Prem team.
Yep, even an 80% success rate sees them drift sooner or later.Mid Sussex Royal wrote:Agree - you can't guarantee getting it right time and time again, they could well sign a couple of less effective playersHendo wrote:Wonder if Brentford don't go up, they'll end up struggling next year. I'd also imagine the likes of Mbuemo would fancy a move to the prem if they miss out
They have no academy set up to speak of so are reliant on quality signings, throw a couple of duds in and the picture soon changes.

They had so many games in hand and have now probably blown it
10 goals in their last 18 games, failing to score in 12 of them.SouthDownsRoyal wrote:Simmops wrote:Rotherhams run in of 11 games in 33 days has killed them. 1 win in 11.

8 mins of injury time at Derby in the first half though, that one could be finishing a good 5 mins after everyone else. Still as long as Rotherham can hold on.....Simmops wrote:DERBY DOWN!!!!!
Derby have looked absolutely abysmal today. They are a shocking side and deserve nothing more.Sutekh wrote:8 mins of injury time at Derby in the first half though, that one could be finishing a good 5 mins after everyone else. Still as long as Rotherham can hold on.....Simmops wrote:DERBY DOWN!!!!!
