Are we the only country where managers don't seem to manage lots of the top clubs or is Italy the odd one out?

Serie A the odd one out IMO. Managing 2 rival clubs is not the big deal there like it would be elsewhere, and they also still prize having an Italian manager highly (just as preserving Italian footballs 'Italianness' is also very important). Means there is a smaller pool to choose from.

I reckon I (like most on here) could do an average job of football management.

See what players you have, try to have them playing in their favoured positions as much as possible.

Only implement your 'ideas' over time

The difficulties would probably stem from the players and fans being fcuking tw@ts.

And a sporting director who insists on the playing style you have to conform to.

That's not really a problem if they have done the job of recruiting both manager and players that fit this style.

No doubt it'll come as a surprise to the SD on the first day of the season that they haven't!

Sadly always going to happen, he’s really proven himself at Lincoln and City is probably a logical next step, probably wanted to move if there was a decent option as how far could you take Lincoln in the second tier? Brizzle obviously a much bigger club with huge potential, and if he gets it right there…..

I’d bet on City being a minimum PO bet next season and while I hope Lincoln stay up I reckon their chances are now less than minimal.
