If we're being really picky, Kane has only scored 2 goals against a team ranked in the Top 10 in a competative fixture and one of them was a penalty.

Not criticising Kane, just pointing out that you can play that game with just about anyone.

You'd be amazed how few of Ronaldo's international goals have been against top teams and how frequently Luxembourg, Faroes and Andorra feature. He was often criticised for going missing in big games.
