Well that was different, never been to Vicarage Road before and experienced an atmosphere. Their fans were noisier than usual.

Bit disappointed with the Reading performance and the total failure to have any shots on target or even threaten the Watford penalty area despite the Watford players completely failing to turn up.

Lucky for everyone though that the good run continued despite the performance thanks to several decisions from the referee to award goals to Reading despite the ball failing to hit the back of the net once (or there even being one on the pitch).

Personally, it reminded me of the performances under Stam and Pauno. The end product was exactly the same but I guess that at least under Stam we had higher possession stats.

I think you're being unduly harsh on them. Yes it wasn't exciting to watch, but when did we last have a game when the defence were so on top that the opposition team didn't even have one shot in the whole match? And they did this without giving a way a single foul or conceding a single corner.

We gave Preston a lot of shit for the lack of goals in their matches but we've somehow witnessed a game where neither team registered a single shot!
