International fan base

Do we have any significant fanbases outside of Britain? If so then where in the world are they? have the club ever put any efforts into creating fan bases abroad?

Did my time in BATUS lol, that's what got me hooked on the Canada idea. Born and bred in Tilehurst and loved my time in Reading, however, now I'm living in a small rural mountain town i wouldn't want it any other way

In truth, there's little point even trying to raise the club's profile abroad. Overseas, if you aren't one of there elite, nobody is interested.

You get the likes of Rangers & Celtic claiming they have massive worldwide fanbases abroad, but it's virtually all ex-pats or their descendents.

Was in Kenya with the military and we all wear our football shirts on downtime in the camp. Its tradition at the end of the tour to give away our jerseys to the local Kenyans.
So somewhere in downtown Nanyuki in Kenya there is a little Kenyan dude running around in a 1990s Reading away shirt

There is a second RFC supporter in Lux. She is from Tilehurst like me ftmfw. Norcot primary school ( RIP) , unbelievable.

I am president, she is treasurer of the RFC Lux Branch.

We may swap roles this spring, to spruce things up/ attract further members.

That's a real shame, a 14 year old HMS would have been brilliant - and we'd have been able to gain a few quid from selling him
