iirc there was a gap you could see the pitch while stood by the bar

so Bristol went and put the biggest steward to stand there

Interesting. Was in the seated stand behind the goal last season and that had a cracking view. Will stump up the extra fiver again then.

We have too. A strange experience , last year on the terraces. On the left hand side we were behind the seated stand.

There's loads of pubs, cafés etc on the Cheltenham Road / Gloucester Road. Have a soft spot for the Drapers Arms, a micropub with a rack at the back loaded with cask ales, 5 minutes walk from the Memorial Stadium.
