Even Northampton's sold out and that's not far behind Blackpool in poor away days.

Info for anyone travelling by train. The nearest station now is Ashley Down a new station about a mile from the ground. Trains from Temple Meads station go there.
iirc there was a gap you could see the pitch while stood by the barRG30 wrote:Elected for seating this year having experienced the terrace last season which is practically restricted viewing unless you get in the ground early enough.
Interesting. Was in the seated stand behind the goal last season and that had a cracking view. Will stump up the extra fiver again then.RG30 wrote:Elected for seating this year having experienced the terrace last season which is practically restricted viewing unless you get in the ground early enough.

There's loads of pubs, cafés etc on the Cheltenham Road / Gloucester Road. Have a soft spot for the Drapers Arms, a micropub with a rack at the back loaded with cask ales, 5 minutes walk from the Memorial Stadium.katweslowski wrote:Any recommended pubs - I don't mean just for football but just generally?
I am on my own and going to make a day of it just to get out the house. Will get the later train back in the evening
