I'm still "In". We need a summer with proper planning - some relative squad stability, a manager and coaching team who know what they need and a hierarchy who back them (which I think they will).

But I'm not a Leam diehard like Ian. Current performances are simply not good enough, and if this is what he delivers next season after a proper summer to prepare I'd expect him to be gone by Christmas.

Genuine question... what is this supposed to achieve? He'll absolutely rightfully go nowhere and still be manager in 6 months time.

All you're doing is promoting negativity and feeding people's frustrations. Which will reflect back in the stands and on social media, which will get to the players and coaches and have zero positive effect.

Definitely out. I cannot bear another season of this dire aimless awful football.

I'm not even remotely die hard. I'm just a realist and have some objectivity, rather than a toxic or negative.

I mean, the whole purpose of this place is to allow people to debate their opinions on Reading FC which is what he's asking us to do.

Are you suggesting he shouldn't start the debate because you don't agree with him?

I'm suggesting the position of Richardson out right now is stupid, pointless and the discussion is already across about 5 threads.

I’m with Ian on this, don’t really understand the point particularly. Just read a match thread to see who likes him or not, not like there is a single chance of him not being in charge come August

And I certainly don’t like a lot of what has been dished up this year, but the whole season the football has been pretty awful, which would hint more at problems with the players we have

I certainly won’t be too happy if we start next year playing like we have this year though

Well you don’t have to read the post or post in the post and I’m sure you won’t be voting. But it’s a perfectly normal thing to do after so many dismal displays, and missing out on the play offs. The managers tenure comes into question. So polls pop up in football forums all across the country asking fans if they want the manager to stay or not. I don’t see the controversy

Maybe I'll start another thread with a poll asking whether we need a poll on this.
