Harvey Knibbs

by billybraggsbeard » 20 Apr 2026 15:03

i'm sure it must have been mentioned before but why do we not try and re-sign Knibbsy, he was such a star for us and has not hit it off at Charlton, being on the bench most games. Rebuild with him and Wingy in midfield for next season. He is the sort of character we need in a pretty bland team now

Had a ‘bit of a spell out injured” with the Addicks hadn’t he?

Yes, the one player we’ve missed this season…

Always seemed to be in the right place at the right time.

I'd say Mbengue has been a bigger miss.

Would love Knibbs back but he's been injured since the Sheff Utd game and has seemingly only recently come back. That said he was only really coming off the bench beforehand.

Now injury prone?

Sounds like a good fit for us and Leam can add him to his 'It's not my fault, look at the injuries, list'.

No - any player that refuses to play to get a transfer isn't welcome back.

Must have missed that, he moved at the end of the close season (1st Aug) so how did he refuse to play? It’s not unusual with PSF’s for players to not play as there are transfer negotiations going on. It’s not like he refused to play in a league game.
